I Created a Monster!!!

During my trip up to Nor Cal, my sister, Wildtomato, took it upon herself to have me learn how to knit. She had her knitting group over and well there was a left handed knitter and she taught me simple stuff. I learned how to do cast ons, and a normal stitch... sorry forgot the name, and my sister taught me how to finish.... I'll probably need to relearn that one though. So my first knitting project is finished. DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Yellow Practice Swatch!

This is an upclose of the stitching. Apparently this is good for a n00b. Honestly knitting was hard work and my arms and back where getting tired and my eyes too. But it was sort of fun. However I must have put too much testosterone into making this yellow swatch because it soon took on a life of it's own.......

No longer the yellow swatch.... it morphed into the........

Woolly Yellow Eye Attacking Beast of Doom (WYEABD). Its first victim was of course Mingus.

Followed by Vespa. Greaseball and Fifty Fifty were speared as Fifty Fifty Knows all and Sees all and thus out witted the WYEABD. When I left my sisters I thought I was safe, however the WYEABD had learned a new trick! It learned hot to cloak.

Without my knowledge I had brought it home with me.

The WYEABD quickly attacked Flick's eyes.

Flick put up a valiant struggle! He fought the WYEABD hard!

But in the end, just like Mingus and Vespa, he had to submit! Ego inflated, the WYEABD looked for its next victim........ my Guinea Pig, River!

At first River was confused as the WYEABD wanted a fast victory and surely a Guinea Pig would be easier than dogs and cats.

However, just when things looked grim, River had an idea. One that could save the world from this WYEABD forever.

With all her Guinea Pig might and will, River put her new plan into place. She attacked the WYEABD with all her cuteness! Fueled by her love of her daddy, veggies, and timothy hay and with the hope of all of earth's creatures........ she made the WYEABD submit to her will!

And that boys and girls is how River got her lovely yellow bonnet!

TofuNinja spends Christmas with WildTomato

Happy Holidays Y'all!!! Well I just got back from WildTomato's! The TofuNinja spend Christmas with his sister and brother in law. It was a hoot. Took to pictures to prove that I was there :) And yes her pets are really THAT cute. As soon as I walked through the door Vespa and Mingus wanted to play with Uncle Tofu!!!

Here are a few pictures of the cuteness that is Vespa, Mingus, Fifty Fifty, and Greaseball (The King).

The King wanted to check out his Uncle. Since Fifty Fifty knows all and sees all she stayed in bed

Mingus shows Uncle that he can be a Pom.

Vespa chews a bully stick, and yes that is the Green Cyclops Monster

Mingus shows me his Wolf sleeping like a cat pose.

Even Scarlet made an appearance

The Dog Pack posing for threats!

Christmas at my sisters was wonderful. I had a blast. My Brother In Law's family is really cool. They know how to have a great time. Because I know what "The Boy" was getting for Christmas I went and got my Sister and Him Rock Band.... that was a hoot!

As much fun as it was at WildTomato's there was some strange things going on...... Christmas Eve Fifty Fifty, who sees all and knows all, most have decided that she wanted to make me her slave and quickly got all the other pets in the house to help her achieve her goal. It was strange. Luckily my will was strong and I did not submit to the combined will of Fifty Fifty, Greaseball, Mingus, Vespa, and Scarlet. I have no idea how I escaped.

Fifty started it with her "Take Me To Your Leader" Eyes

Greaseball followed up with his "Bow To My Greatness" Eyes

Vespa then hit me with her "Give Me Belly Rubs" Eyes

Greaseball and Fifty then did a joint "You Will Feed Us" Eyes

The surprise attack was the "Give us Treats" Eyes from Mingus and Scarlet.

The day after Christmas I had to take off back to Fresberg. Vespa was sad to see me go and made sure to watch my back as I took off.

My Vacation thus far.......

Vacations can be over rated. I find myself bored and if I don't give myself something to do... I'd sleep all day.... not good. So what have I done this vacation thus far? Well been trying to spend as much of it as I can with my girlfriend. We have different schedules and so it is hard at times. For the first time we will miss "Tuesday Date Night" as it falls on Christmas and I will be up north with my sister, the famous Wildtomato of knitting fame. I hope I don't get that sweater infestation. I hear Mingus has it bad.... and I love playing with Mingus. I also get to play Santa for the Units who do not like going up north, they are afraid of that hill. This trip will be fun as it is the first time I see my sister I think since moved back.

Also got most of the Girl Friend's presents wrapped. Some little things... maybe something will catch my eye and I'll add to it, but I think I am finished. I have really enjoyed my week with her. Well I've only seen her the past three days, and then will be seeing her again on Saturday to drop off gifts, but I enjoy every moment with her and look forward to the times we will be spending. We watched I Am Legend.... scariest damn movie I've seen in ages..... good, just scarier than I like... and it needles.... lots of them.... yuck! Also got to surprise her with some trademark tofuninja flair. Can't wait until Saturday. We had a blast eating Ethiopian food with the Units and another couple from their marriage group.... so yes... in a way.... I was on a group date with the units.....sigh...... but the Girl Friend and I had fun and the food was good.

Hopefully by then I will also have helped her and her mom with something as well. I've been a bounty hunter for them but have yet to score the hit... i was close today. This mark has been both fun and frustrating.

I was a little shocked to find that Save Mart already has Valentine's Day stuff up... WTF?!?!?! It is like two friggin' months away... give me a break. DAMN!

Flick wants to say hi!

He hasn't met a box he does not like. Oh it has been rainy here the past few days and today I learned that the Vice Admiral is not fond of rain or water. Even though we are roughly 90% water or something like that, he just doesn't like to get wet in the rain...... So in honor of his fear of being in the rain I post this tribute picture! Enjoy.

Nice Weekend, but tiring.

Had a great weekend, busy too, with the Girlfriend. Saturday she got to met two my my friends at lunch then we went to my school's Christmas party. I found that it doesn't matter what side of the guest list I am on, staff or other, I am not as comfortable at parties as others. I do not know what it is. At school I am somewhat of a rockstar and a ICON of WWE.... at a party I am a wall flower.... strange.... very strange. We had fun at the end, but a late lunch made us not want to eat. My girl was a trooper though and I am reminded why she is so great. After the party we went back to her place and watched some youtube..... strange that in this day and age you can watch youtube as an activity. hahaha.

The next day my friends bailed on lunch in Lemoore and the GF and me had a late start. We did some shopping for a school charity, took care of some other gifts, then watched the Golden Compass. I could be nice and say that we were both tired and that the movie was too slow for us that day... but I won't, the movie absolutely sucked. I think that because I was really excited to see it, it raised the suckage bar.... the GF said that it was exactly what she thought it would be.... the only part that was cool was the ending of the bear fight.... THey didn't even put the correct BOOK ending to it......

After the horrid movie, she met my parents and it went well, however she was a bit nervous. She was raised that the boy only takes the girl home when it is serious and after a month this made her really nervous. I tried to sooth her nerves and well everything went ok, but I wish I could have done more to comfort her. Sunday was not as cool as Saturday, but I still had a great time.

This week we are both busy and might not get to see each other on our nomral tuesday night date night... but that's ok. Hopefully we will still have one on the weekend.

What is in the air today hahahaha

The Male Parental Unit was trying to figure what was up with me this morning as we had a playful half boxing match. hahaha. It's been a long time since we did something like that and time I was the aggressor. He was stretching and I asked him to do that again and he tucked in and said he didn't trust me, cause I had this look in my eye. So as he went past me I started playfully using his back as a punching bag, landing lefts and rights. He turns around and I start peppering his shoulder with left jabs. He then laughs, lowers his head and rams me, only to get some right hooks to the gut and left hooks to the back... all with very little power. He laughs and retreats and I peppers him with more jabs as he does... he ask what is up with me and tries to kick at me.... which with my green belt training from years past I deftly blocked and peppers him with more jabs. I moved in and started to land some light kidney shots.... that is when he cheated and chased me off with hot water...... good times. Getting a full REM cycle of sleep makes a difference.

The Rainbow

It has been rainy here in the central valley for the past day and a half. Well on my way to work the sun was out and well there was a rainbow. I snapped off a few daring photos. I had planned to take more when I got to school. But on my way to school as I was driving with the rainbow (Two, one bright one dull) in front of me the sun got covered and both of the rainbows vanished. So sad.

Awesome New Idea

I was forcing my students to listen to show tunes.... well the soundtrack for Cats.... and when the song Gumby cat was on. Near the end of the song there is a dance routine when you watch, well while that music was playing I had a strange mental vision... it was one half WWE one half dance. Are you ready for it.... Jazz Hands... wait for it.... Battle.... that's right.... Jazz Hands Battle......
I need to make this happen. Two people facing off WWE style like they are going to kill each other, then they each take turns or at the same time break into Jazz Hands...... This could be huge....

I just remembered

If I ever needed a reminder of why at times I have turned my back on the church, this is one of them.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/entertainmentfilmreligionusbritain

Pretty much a group of Catholics and Bishops are condemning the movie the Golden Compass. They say it is anti-religion. Well I read the book and didn't see it. And besides the history of the Catholic Church is one of oppression and other not so nice things...... But who are these supposed closed minded ultra conservatives to tell ME how to live my life or what to watch. I still maintain that it is up to the Church to preach that parents should be MORE involved in their children's lives and *gasp* talk to them about issues like this..... yeah that's right, parents need to be parents. What a novel concept? OMG!!! Instead parents don't do this and they rely on a church that abuses their children.... nice.... give me a break, let people live their lives and if anything remind them that being a good parent will solve most of the issues these groups are complaining about.........

Best Typo of the year

Well as a lot of you know I am a teacher. Where I teach an elective, Business and Computers, at times there is not a lot of big writing assignments due. However I assigned one after my Intro to Business class watched the first four episodes of the Apprentice Season 1. Well in those episodes the females blank the males, mainly using their sex appeal. One of my students was trying to make that point, however he did not proof read and his paper read, "I think that the women did use their sex apple to win..." I had to take a double take, and when I did I was laughing so hard I had a backlash of coughs that have been lingering. I almost died laughing, literally. Just all the endless possibilities that a Sex Apple could bring.... oh the joy was too much for this teacher to handle..... I love it!

Thought this was funny. So I blogged it. The Units wanted me to email it, but I rather not. Here is better. Starting Vespa, Flick, Mingus, and River the Guinea Pig

Niners stink it up again

Niners stick it up again today vs. the Panthers. No offense.... Nolan has got to go. We need a new offense, a new QB, and receivers that can actually catch the bloody football. That is not too much to ask is it? sigh

Lemoore

I've been spending a lot of time in Lemoore, Ca. I don't mind because the company is good. The long drive is not that long knowing where I am going and who I am seeing. The long trips back are also worth it. They give me some time to soak in the days events and what not. I can not wait to be back there or for a little part of Lemoore to come to me.

Boomer and Helo Update

Well Boomer and Helo are settled in nicely with their new parents who just adore them. It took them about three days I believe to remember that they were sisters. There were some worried times as they would hiss and Boomer quietly dominated Helo..... Helo just had to get used to the fact that she was no longer Queen Bee. Well as of last update from their new parents, they kittens are sleeping on the same bed as their parents and grooming each other as well as playing with each other. It warms my heart to know that the sisters are once again sisters.... it looked like they would have a blood feud.

ANDY LEE #4

BOOYEAH!!!! (Since when do I use the word booyeah?)NINERS WIN!!! NINERS WIN!!!!!!!! Sure the Defense got the fumble in the end zone, but it was our PUNTER!!! Yes the Punter who put them in that position.... Perhaps I will pay 99.99 for a personalized jersey! Go Andy Lee!!!!!!

Kitten Update

Well the last I heard, the kittens' new parents were in love with them. They are cuties. However Boomer went into her shy stage again. She is the shy one, and Boomer went right up to them. So Boomer was hiding and Helo meows hahahaha They will be loved and are with good people, who were a bit shocked at all the perks they came with, sherpa bags, crate, beds, ungodly amount of toys etc. hahaha

Sisters Reunited

Well the sisters are finally out and about together. Boomer and Helo. They sniffed each other's faces... or touched noses.... then Boom walked by and Helo sniffed her butt, and then hissed. Which started Boom hissing. Well I broke out the Feather toy and now they are co-existing. With Big Flick playing playground patrol. I am happy. No fur is flying. They will be happy in their new homes. I will have to say my goodbyes before I leave for Lemoore today as well as pack up their stuff. The sisters are back... kind of..... for now :)

Worst Wingman Ever!!!!

I need to tell this tale of shame. Yes it is SO shameful it is funny. I laugh so hard when I think of this and when I tell other people they laugh too. It is the epic tale of how one of my best friends, who is like a brother to me, kept denying me.... oh yes.... not that I mind but it was like.... What the hell?!?!

ME: Hey Bro. How are things with you and the Fiancee?

HIM: Good man, she is busy, but hey she's a nurse.

ME: That's right... hey she have any single nurse friends? I mean you know, I'm game bro.

HIM: ummm I don't think she does.

ME: Your kidding me right?

HIM: Well there may be some single nurses... but you don't want to date them, trust me.

ME: Oh come on, hook it up bro. Nurses? That's hawt man. I'd go out with a nurse, heck anyone once. You know me.

HIM: Well.... I don't know man, they are all Mexicans.... you wouldn't want to date one of them.

ME: Oh come on dude! Rice and beans go well together. Mexican girls are pretty hook it up dude.

HIM: Man, you don't know about Mexican nurses bro, they talk crap about each other.

ME: Big deal I talk crap about everyone!

HIM: Well... it is not like that... they talk crap about their own kind. You can't trust them. Seriously, you know what I mean.

ME: No I don't. Dude, if your girl knows any single nurses that she thinks I would like let's get rolling man. I haven't been on a date in ages. Throw a bro a bone G!

HIM: Look, trust me, you would like them.

ME: If she is breathing and female, at this point I'd date her.

HIM: I don't know man..... I don't know, you just wouldn't like any of them.

ME: *sighs and looks him right in the eyes* Three words for you bro.... WORST WINGMAN EVER!

HIM: *laughs* What?

Sheesh! Inside I am laughing

Fowler loses!!!

I normally don't get happy about high school football games that are not my schools... but I was mixed up on this one. Fowler vs Bakersfield Christian for the Valley Championship. Fowler dominated us twice..... and their student fans are jerks... well one was at least..... so to be fair... they had one jerky student fan and his circle of friends who egged him on.... Well Fowler looked like the real deal and perhaps they were... BUT!!!! THEY LOST!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA not only did they lose, but they lost 34-35..... ONE POINT! I love it. I bet those big tough football players cried....

Ok so I am a little mean this morning... but hey.... I'm amused.

Randomness

Ok I am already sick of the multiposting hahahaha makes me look like a post whore... or something. So instead I will blog random thoughts in ONE blog post instead of over several... this of course will make no sense as what little people actually read my blog will read top to bottom, not vice versa.

Nirvana Unplugged

Ok everyone knows I love Nirvana. But my passion for them was born from the MTV unplugged concert they did. Before I really really jumped on the Alternative/Grunge/90s music I only listened to oldies and had really no interest in Nirvana. Well, that changed with the Unplugged album and show. It was right up my ally in terms of sound and wasn't too harsh. Well I learned to love the harshness of alt music and now am a hueg fan of all kinds of rock. But This album and concert started it. Why do I bring this up? Today I purchased Nirvana Unplugged In New York. They finally released the concert in it's Entirety. As I watched I got goosebumps and was reminded why this band opened my ears to new music. I also noticed that Kurt Cobain has my second favorite pair of blue eyes.

The Most Electrifying After School Program

After two weeks of lower than expected turn out I had a solid week in my WWE After School Program. This is due mainly because football ended and I have senior from the team flooding into my room. I had 5 new students on Monday, and another 10 on Wednesday... though I think that the new "Tradition" had more to do with it. The new "Tradition" was Pizza. I just thought that since it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I'd throw them a surprise Pizza Party. It was a hit. I had a few students who came in because I was teasing them about this new "Tradition" and they wanted to know what it was. Little did I know that I was the ONLY After School Program to run that day. There were sports going on, but no other ASP as they all canceled. So I was promoing this to all my students WWE style...."Come check out the NEW 'tradition' being ushered in by the ONLY and Mr. Mar means ONLY ASP that dares run on the day before turkey day! Why? Because WWE ASP is the MOST ELECTRIFYING ASP in CHS history!!!" Nerdy yes.... but it worked.

Great

Now that I went to this format I'm drawing blanks......

Boomer and Helo

Well my former roommate dropped off Boomer last Sunday on her way to her brother's near Oakland. And just like I thought Boomer and Helo hate each other. It is Hissapoluza! I thought that this would happen. Susan and Bruce, to whom the cats are going to, said they are used to cats like this so I think they will be fine. I just can't wait for them to remember that they are sisters. Flick, like the totally cool cat that he is, has already reunited with Boomer. He hissed at her to make her remember that he is Flick, and then everything was good between them. That means Flick was grooming her. So it has been a week just about and while Boomer and Helo are ok around each other, they still hiss I haven't let them both free roam at the same time.... that will come later at their new home. I will miss the two butt kittens. But they need each other even if they currently don't think so.

Helo and Boomer as kittens.... now rivals.. so sad

Josh Groban

It was suggested to me by a Blue-Eyed Lady that I perhaps check out some Josh Groban. My former roommate had listened to him. For the most part he is not my typical genre of music, however he seems to relax me..... which is good. I like it. He has a powerful voice. My students didn't really like it that much, but then again they like very little of what I do play for them. I purchased his Album AWAKE and it will soon be on my iPod for their listening enjoyment and mine. The CD I may give away as I took what I needed from it. If the Blue-Eyed Lady doesn't have this one it's hers.

Pet Stores

For some reason I haven't spent a lot of time in a pet store lately. PetSmart is just too far away currently. That will change when I move, but for it.... yeah. And Petco is not that good here in Fresno.... however there is an independent store Whities. Well I went there to get some stuff.... I forgot they they sale feeders..... :( nuff said.

End I think

I think this will end this blog post....... yeah it will. Thanks for reading.

Dating

Well Match.com wasn't completely worthless. I met someone on there that has really sparked my interest. I am getting to know her right now and have been happier than I have in a long time in this area. We still need to share more of our pasts with each other, unfortunately I fear my past is a bit more complicated than hers..... I am afraid to disclose it, but will. I have been nothing but honest with her thus far and believe that that is the best path to continue. She may even be reading this blog soon as well. I have nothing to hide and am fine with how certain events in the past have panned out.

I am excited though, we are going to see Enchanted. I will be going to her town of Lemoore which is roughly 45 minutes to an hour away from Fresno. We have had two great dates... well the first and an impromptu one both lasted like 3 hours. I have sent flowers, and went to the mall she was working at today to shop and perhaps run into her, which I did. I was scared.... that was a fine line between creepy and cool I walked... But my goal was to shop in a mall that was not as crowded as Fashion Fair, which it wasn't, oh Hanford mall btw, and had some of the same shops, which is also did. It was a nice drive to Hanford, and she was just as stunning today as the first two times I've seen her. Silly me had to wear the green shirt I have with the bunny and squirrel boxing....... but I think I pulled it off.......

Oh and I got to do something that I kind of always wanted to do to a Mall Vendor... it was a little mean... but I laughed after.... This lady with some kind of cream it looked like in her hand approached me as I tried to pass her "Sir, can I ask you a question?" My classic response.... "You just did thank you." Kept on walking....... that was legen.... wait for it... dary.... legendary!!

My Word....

I hate when people question my word. I am a stand up guy, when I say I will do something, it gets done. I have to admit I normally tend to leave out a deadline...... but I will get it done. What sparks this little entry? Well I had asked one of the Units about vesting for my new house... well this Unit had no idea and started to lecture me about fees and how that I am still on the title for the old house that I was liable. I explained to this Unit that I had taken care of that and true the state will come after me if needed, but she needs to refinance before I can get my name off completely. The Unit went on to say that I should FORCE her to do it because it is my money involved here as well. I tried to explain to this Unit that I can not force someone to do anything.

The Unit went on to say that this will bite me and that "They" will charge me more. I asked "Who will charge me more?" The response was " I don't want to argue with you." Again "Who will charge me more?" "Listen I'm not..." Finished the Unit's sentence "Answering my question... WHO will charge me more?" The Unit yells "The Bank!" I laugh because I have already taken care of this. My Loan officer even showed it to underwriting and said I am good. Not only to I have a Quit Claim Deed signed and notarized but my old roommate also provided me with 6 months of checks showing that I have NOT paid for the mortgage. I told the Unit this, but all I got was a shake of the head.

WHAT?!?! I informed said Unit that I have taken care of this, like I ALWAYS DO, but the Unit replied "When this blows up on you and IT WILL, then I will just say I told you so." My reply was "That won't happen because I take care of my stuff. I always have. When I say I'm going to do something it's as good as done. I have already been approved and am good to go." Still the shake of the head... screw that. There will be no "I told you so." sheesh. Sometimes this Unit acts like I am stupid and can't take care of my stuff.... but I can.......I can not wait to move out...... not that I am not thankful..... it is just I had to hold my tongue......pisses me off.......

To make matters worst, the Unit's computer is located in the room that I sleep in and this Unit has been addicted to Pogo.com and stays in the room until like 1am and I can't sleep when I want cause again I don't force people to do things they don't want to...... sigh. I am sooooo looking forward to my date tomorrow.

The Golden Compass finished

Well I finished the Golden Compass yesterday. Which is ahead of schedule. I had a goal to finish it before the Dec 7th release of the film and well it's done :) So now I am reading Anne McCaffrey's No One Noticed the Cat. It was suggested to me to read something by McCaffrey and so I found something that interested me. This is the first book of hers that I have read. So far so good. I could make this longer and go off topic, but I won't. Instead I'll make a series of small blog entries haha I guess that will work as I haven't blogged here in ages.

Some Good News I think

Well I finished Ray Bradbury's famous book Fahrenheit 451. So I finished two books this month. Hoping to pound out Number 3, The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman. It is very interesting and I want to finish it prior to the movie release on Dec 7th, which I think I will beat. I am more than half way through and that surprises me since I am still teaching... normally I read slow due to the classroom.

Some first for me this month, WWE ASP started. I had a HUGE interest prior to the program starting, but I have been struggling to get kids in... with football season now over I might get a few in. Who knows. I have to compete with sports..... perhaps I can bring in an old gaming system too.... we will see I will need to get feedback for my kids.

Also I will be doing something I haven't done in over 7 years... more update on that.... if I feel like it.

Also I am getting Boomer back, so I will have three kitties here for a week before I do one of the hardest things ever and give both Boomer and Helo up to a new home. The unit's friends want some kitties and I know they will give these two a loving home, and the sisters will finally be back together. I just hope their time apart has not weakened or changed their bond. We will see.

ok that's it

Stardust!!!! FINISHED!!

Yes! For the first time in what seems ages, I finished a book. I have been reading two of them. But Stardust is finished. It is quiet different from the movie, and in a good way. I am glad that the movie did not end up like the book. However each are wonderful. Man teaching has taken away a lot of my reading time. Still need to finish the Ray Bradbury classic. I think Golden Compass or The Last of the Jedi children's book is next up as far as fiction. Well I am happy I finished a book!!! BOOYEAH!!!!

The Mother of all Storms

Wow, that was scary. I had to drive home in the mother of all storms. Most people in Fresno are not good drivers. They are ok, but they are not as good as those in SF and LA and OC. Some are, but most are not. Add to that crap being blown about by the wind.... sheesh. Lightening galore too! So much of it man. I heard the thunder and knew the lightening and rain were on its way. Scary... they said on the radio, that if you can hear the thunder you are close enough to be struck by lightening... I laughed, but man, that's scary stuff.

Another 49er loss

This sucks.... the Niners have no heart, no offense, and suck to high heaven. With the exception of the Blue Raiders, all my teams suck ass man. Niners, suck. Bulldogs, Suck. Lakers....suck. Sheesh.

Feeling a bit better now

or So I am feeling much better now. I called one of my best friends and turns out he is in town this week and not in San Jose..... he goes up that way to plan his wedding. He said one of these days I have to go caking with him.... caking haha. So we are going to chill tonight. Also made a pot of jookchinese rice soup using a chicken from costco. Not sure what we will be doing tonight, maybe I'll take him to the Asian bar for some Sake or grab some sushi or pizza. Maybe just chill and watch a DVD who knows.

I hate being alone

Trust me I am fine with the split. I've accepted it and moved on. Looking back it was for the best. The one thing that I can not get used to is being alone. I mean true I have my kitties and my parents and friends. But for example, this weekend, my best friends are busy, one up north, one down south. Outside of school I don't really do much.... it must be no wonder I throw myself so much into my work. I think it is there that I am without a shadow of a doubt truly happy. Outside of work I am happy most of the time. It is days like this that feel it. Bored, lonely, and feeling empty. I sometimes wonder if I did this to myself or... if Karma is a bitch, what I did to others to deserve this. It sucks. But I'll get over it too. Still not up to seeing movies by myself.... It was sad man, I went to the Asian Bar that I like to watch the Fresno State Game. First time I drank alone.... but don't you worry, I still am not a fan of the drink and I know my limit. I must have wasted like 20-25% of my Lychee Sake, which by the way totally rules. But man I felt like crap when the Bartender asked me if I was waiting for someone..... Who goes to a bar alone I guess..... it's true.... man not sure if I could eat out alone or even see a movie alone. I guess I am more social than I thought... strange huh. Well I'll have to get over it.... I am positive that I can learn to be alone, live alone, eat alone, drink alone, and most of all be happy alone. I have a long lonely trip ahead of me, but I know that I can do it. I always have. That is the only thing that I am sure of, that I will succeed in whatever I do. Even if that success is achieved alone.

The East-West Mafia

So at school, with Tennis season over, I am focusing on getting my After School Programs up and running. The first one is the much talked about WWE After School Program. This one is going to be a lot of work. Kids will be picking a Wrestler of the Month and then we study that wrestler. Everything from character development to finishing moves and heel turns will be looked at. The kids will also be creating a fantasy league with my help. This is the hard part. There is no physical contact, this is all writing and analytical skills. But talking about WWE and wrestling in general seems to excite a lot of kids, boys and girls. They will also create their own wrestlers for this league and help in booking and writing matches with my help. As a bonus I was told we also get to design shirts and well ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO PRINT THEM. How cool is that? A free self designed shirt for each kid!!!! SWEET!!!

Well to promote these ASP I have been bringing championship belts to school. I had to borrow The Rear Admiral Lower Half's. I've taken pictures of the kids with them, and well.... I took one with one of my fellow teachers. He is a cool guy... however we did get ribbed for this haha So I give you the East-West Mafia!!!

Relatives here today

So today the relatives are a coming. I need to get going to the classroom soon. After I check up on something with my Jamba card. I just might do it in the classroom. Trying to keep my head up. While I am doing great at school and am happy at school, I am a bit lonely at home. The units are fine, but it's not the same. Can't wait until I get my own place. However then I will have to cook for myself hahahaha it's a good price to pay really. I have BTSA and our last games is this coming week... oh and I have Saturday school next saturday MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I will play the lucky song the whole time. I'll probably visit the sat school teacher today to see what does go on and what not as I have no idea. ok that is it for this mini update. I've noticed I blog less and less these days... busy busy busy....

Brett Favre

I am not the biggest Brett Farve fan, in fact most of the time I hate him. But this season, the old man is playing like he was in his prime. It is amazing. As a football fan, I am in awe of what he is doing this season. Who knows the Packers could be a team of destiny this year.

The Infamous Crown, did I spell that right?

Well perhaps after I told you about the crown that the two Germans thought was like a Pope's Crown you'd like to see the picture yourself. So here it is. HERE IT IS!!! OH YEAH!!!!!

Oh yeah and that is only half of what you want to see... this below is what the kids saw as I strutted down the hall. I got many a chuckle, wide eyed looks, and wows. I think the students believe that I am strange, I am also known to wear a black and pink Hello Kitty backpack to our tennis matches. Hey what can I say, it holds our first aide kits and other needed papers just right. Don't hate, appreciate! hahaha. Too much Haterade. But I love it, the kids do too.

So cool! The pope? hahahaha Got to love those German exchange students... oh I've also been known to wield a light sabre at football games as I guard my gate.... nice huh.

Homecoming

Well I have now survived my first Homecoming and Caruthers Fair week. I guess this is the big two for new teachers. The third will be graduation. Fair week was not that bad. I had a few away games, but for the most part it was ok and besides the drama on the team. I think that the team is a little better off now. But not at 100%. We have a new ladder and captain for the second half. Speaking of Tennis, I worked a small portion of the boosters food booth, that was crazy, Coach Unit worked the bulk of it, and I am thankful that he did. I guarded my gate with ease during the fair game.

Homecoming was different. I was a judge at the rally on Friday. I wore Disney on Monday, A lame but funny Pope/Bishop like crown on Tuesday, and nothing on Mickey Mouse day. I guarded my gate and watched JV dominate and Varsity struggle a little bit. My awesome blue light saber was a hit with everyone. Apparently because I was in all black and a blue tie, from the stands you could see the blade (like I promised) but you couldn't see me. So you'd just see the blade flying around hahaha. NICE!

After the game I just wanted to see what the Homecoming dance looked like as I never went to my own high school dances. In fact I have more school spirit today than I did in college and in High School. In college I had Alpha Phi Omega pride! Well I was not scheduled for the dance but ended up staying. Again my jedi blade provided good entertainment and I saw a lot more of my kids. Me and the kids know each other better now so it is all good. Not as strange as before. I talked to them, joked with them and well didn't dance with them, but showed them what little moves I had hahaha.

Well time to work on other stuff. Have a good weekend, though I may post again... probably will since I am an internet junking... so sad.

It finally happened

Well our girls finally lost 0-9. It was to the team in the league and beats up on every one. So we are now 0-5 in league. Again I don't mind losing cause my girls found a personal win. Only two of the teams got blanked today. Our number 3 doubles (two beginners) and our Number 3, who was a target because she beat them last time. Other than that we did ok. The other team would get SOOOOOO pissed when we would win a game, but lose the match. They have a drawing that if you beat a girl 8-0 you get a ticket or something. WHat the hell is that? One of my girls was losing 3-0 and I talked to her and asked her how she was doing. Gave her a funny but serious pep talk that involved walkign into their house and drinking from their fridge. And not to get bageled. I told her, you win one game, just watch how pissed off she gets. She won that next game and true enough her girl got pissed and complained about not getting a ticket. Fun huh. oh well. My girls come out smiles and that is what makes it worth it.

Niner Pics

Ok ok so the Niners lost big time which totally sucked. It was a "Total System Failure" on the offensive end. By Greythorns Hammer, What a shame.

It was too early for Third Down Thunder

The Rear Admirals Leathered up with Jerseys for the Game

The Read Admirals outside Candlestick Park

The whole Niner Game Gang Niner the Lower Half

I got two words for ya!!

Jesus Mahony aka Drunk Seahawk Fan

My first time at Candlestick, it was like the motherland!

Had to post a pic of the Units

We smirk because it was a good time, even though we lost.

The game was fun. Had a great time. But I did learn that the So Cal girls are much better looking than Nor Cal Girls. Well atleast the type of girls who show up to sporting events. I know that is very shallow, but it was just an observation.

Still Busy! :(

Back to School Night went really well. I had 13-14 families stop by. I need to figure out a better way to talk to families instead of by the door as I had a traffic jam. hahaha Well it felt great to meet parents, both the English speakers and non. I got to use what little Spanish I know. HA But I didn't sing the One Semester of Spanish Love Song hahahaha.

For the most part one of three types of students came with their families. 1) The students who's A in my class is one of their few A's. 2) Students who parents wanted to meet ALL their teachers. 3) Students who I am one of their favorite teachers.

I also was awarded the "Jedi Knight Award" for wearing neon Green gloves at Traffic duty and bearing a toy lightsabre at the football game to guard my gate ;)

I promise by the end of the day you will see a TON, a TON of Niner game pics. They are already at my photobucket account. So hang in there folks, all like 2 of you who read this hahaha

Back to School Night

Today will be my first back to school night with the high school. This will be interesting. I need to go out to Tennis and then I wait in my class for parents. I may need to get something to eat, but I have a PBJ. So I should be fine.

I will report later on the Back to School night and post pics from the Niner game.

Three Days of Football over!

I'll post of pictures of the Niner game, if you can call it that, later. Niners really stunk it up. But this horrid game concluded my three days of football. Friday, Caruthers (GO BLUE RAIDERS!!) smashed Tranquility (best game of the three), Saturday Fresno State won an ugly one, and Today, the Niners got their asses handed to them.

Again pictures to follow.

Fresno State Game

Well today was a strange one. I paid some bills, always fun. Put up some sticky paws to prevent Helo and Flick from shredding the Units' eurobed. Was going to sign my purchase contracts with the Grove, but Laura was sick so that was canceled.

The highlights of today was a quick nap and a boring but fun Bulldog Football game. Man being there brought back tons of memories of running around Saturday nights getting into and staying out of trouble.

Here are some things that I noticed about the stadium now that I have been to a fair share of bigger better stadiums. It is small, but comparable to other college stadiums. However there are still a-holes who do their best and worst to ruin the games for all of us. Stay home or go to a bar before you drop f-bombs in front of kids or get all worked up about a in between time killer field game that you have to call the guy a "son of a bitch" and "a pussy kickin' prick" Seriously lay off the booze and stay in the bar, don't ruin it for people.

This used to be all grass.

The Fresno State Marching band is huge. A lot bigger than I remember.

The band plays for the visiting team while they warm up. BTW they sit in the end zone.

This did nothing for me. The one tiny regret about UCR, no football so my school pride is not as strong as it should or could be.

One of the units, and no that is not an iPod, he doesn't know what an iPod is.

I am all giddy over the worst than high school level of play and the stupid cries of "Red Wave Third Down THUNDER!" What was that about.... it was weak. Really weak. They also call first downs like we are the Broncos are something. Oh well I guess it is all in good fun, but man I was making so much fun of the Third Down Thunders hahaha.

Looks like I will be my dad's football buddy. Could be worst I suppose. Hey it's football.... Fresno state sucky football, but football.
