Kitten Update

Well the last I heard, the kittens' new parents were in love with them. They are cuties. However Boomer went into her shy stage again. She is the shy one, and Boomer went right up to them. So Boomer was hiding and Helo meows hahahaha They will be loved and are with good people, who were a bit shocked at all the perks they came with, sherpa bags, crate, beds, ungodly amount of toys etc. hahaha

Sisters Reunited

Well the sisters are finally out and about together. Boomer and Helo. They sniffed each other's faces... or touched noses.... then Boom walked by and Helo sniffed her butt, and then hissed. Which started Boom hissing. Well I broke out the Feather toy and now they are co-existing. With Big Flick playing playground patrol. I am happy. No fur is flying. They will be happy in their new homes. I will have to say my goodbyes before I leave for Lemoore today as well as pack up their stuff. The sisters are back... kind of..... for now :)

Worst Wingman Ever!!!!

I need to tell this tale of shame. Yes it is SO shameful it is funny. I laugh so hard when I think of this and when I tell other people they laugh too. It is the epic tale of how one of my best friends, who is like a brother to me, kept denying me.... oh yes.... not that I mind but it was like.... What the hell?!?!

ME: Hey Bro. How are things with you and the Fiancee?

HIM: Good man, she is busy, but hey she's a nurse.

ME: That's right... hey she have any single nurse friends? I mean you know, I'm game bro.

HIM: ummm I don't think she does.

ME: Your kidding me right?

HIM: Well there may be some single nurses... but you don't want to date them, trust me.

ME: Oh come on, hook it up bro. Nurses? That's hawt man. I'd go out with a nurse, heck anyone once. You know me.

HIM: Well.... I don't know man, they are all Mexicans.... you wouldn't want to date one of them.

ME: Oh come on dude! Rice and beans go well together. Mexican girls are pretty hook it up dude.

HIM: Man, you don't know about Mexican nurses bro, they talk crap about each other.

ME: Big deal I talk crap about everyone!

HIM: Well... it is not like that... they talk crap about their own kind. You can't trust them. Seriously, you know what I mean.

ME: No I don't. Dude, if your girl knows any single nurses that she thinks I would like let's get rolling man. I haven't been on a date in ages. Throw a bro a bone G!

HIM: Look, trust me, you would like them.

ME: If she is breathing and female, at this point I'd date her.

HIM: I don't know man..... I don't know, you just wouldn't like any of them.

ME: *sighs and looks him right in the eyes* Three words for you bro.... WORST WINGMAN EVER!

HIM: *laughs* What?

Sheesh! Inside I am laughing

Fowler loses!!!

I normally don't get happy about high school football games that are not my schools... but I was mixed up on this one. Fowler vs Bakersfield Christian for the Valley Championship. Fowler dominated us twice..... and their student fans are jerks... well one was at least..... so to be fair... they had one jerky student fan and his circle of friends who egged him on.... Well Fowler looked like the real deal and perhaps they were... BUT!!!! THEY LOST!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA not only did they lose, but they lost 34-35..... ONE POINT! I love it. I bet those big tough football players cried....

Ok so I am a little mean this morning... but hey.... I'm amused.

Randomness

Ok I am already sick of the multiposting hahahaha makes me look like a post whore... or something. So instead I will blog random thoughts in ONE blog post instead of over several... this of course will make no sense as what little people actually read my blog will read top to bottom, not vice versa.

Nirvana Unplugged

Ok everyone knows I love Nirvana. But my passion for them was born from the MTV unplugged concert they did. Before I really really jumped on the Alternative/Grunge/90s music I only listened to oldies and had really no interest in Nirvana. Well, that changed with the Unplugged album and show. It was right up my ally in terms of sound and wasn't too harsh. Well I learned to love the harshness of alt music and now am a hueg fan of all kinds of rock. But This album and concert started it. Why do I bring this up? Today I purchased Nirvana Unplugged In New York. They finally released the concert in it's Entirety. As I watched I got goosebumps and was reminded why this band opened my ears to new music. I also noticed that Kurt Cobain has my second favorite pair of blue eyes.

The Most Electrifying After School Program

After two weeks of lower than expected turn out I had a solid week in my WWE After School Program. This is due mainly because football ended and I have senior from the team flooding into my room. I had 5 new students on Monday, and another 10 on Wednesday... though I think that the new "Tradition" had more to do with it. The new "Tradition" was Pizza. I just thought that since it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I'd throw them a surprise Pizza Party. It was a hit. I had a few students who came in because I was teasing them about this new "Tradition" and they wanted to know what it was. Little did I know that I was the ONLY After School Program to run that day. There were sports going on, but no other ASP as they all canceled. So I was promoing this to all my students WWE style...."Come check out the NEW 'tradition' being ushered in by the ONLY and Mr. Mar means ONLY ASP that dares run on the day before turkey day! Why? Because WWE ASP is the MOST ELECTRIFYING ASP in CHS history!!!" Nerdy yes.... but it worked.

Great

Now that I went to this format I'm drawing blanks......

Boomer and Helo

Well my former roommate dropped off Boomer last Sunday on her way to her brother's near Oakland. And just like I thought Boomer and Helo hate each other. It is Hissapoluza! I thought that this would happen. Susan and Bruce, to whom the cats are going to, said they are used to cats like this so I think they will be fine. I just can't wait for them to remember that they are sisters. Flick, like the totally cool cat that he is, has already reunited with Boomer. He hissed at her to make her remember that he is Flick, and then everything was good between them. That means Flick was grooming her. So it has been a week just about and while Boomer and Helo are ok around each other, they still hiss I haven't let them both free roam at the same time.... that will come later at their new home. I will miss the two butt kittens. But they need each other even if they currently don't think so.

Helo and Boomer as kittens.... now rivals.. so sad

Josh Groban

It was suggested to me by a Blue-Eyed Lady that I perhaps check out some Josh Groban. My former roommate had listened to him. For the most part he is not my typical genre of music, however he seems to relax me..... which is good. I like it. He has a powerful voice. My students didn't really like it that much, but then again they like very little of what I do play for them. I purchased his Album AWAKE and it will soon be on my iPod for their listening enjoyment and mine. The CD I may give away as I took what I needed from it. If the Blue-Eyed Lady doesn't have this one it's hers.

Pet Stores

For some reason I haven't spent a lot of time in a pet store lately. PetSmart is just too far away currently. That will change when I move, but for it.... yeah. And Petco is not that good here in Fresno.... however there is an independent store Whities. Well I went there to get some stuff.... I forgot they they sale feeders..... :( nuff said.

End I think

I think this will end this blog post....... yeah it will. Thanks for reading.

Dating

Well Match.com wasn't completely worthless. I met someone on there that has really sparked my interest. I am getting to know her right now and have been happier than I have in a long time in this area. We still need to share more of our pasts with each other, unfortunately I fear my past is a bit more complicated than hers..... I am afraid to disclose it, but will. I have been nothing but honest with her thus far and believe that that is the best path to continue. She may even be reading this blog soon as well. I have nothing to hide and am fine with how certain events in the past have panned out.

I am excited though, we are going to see Enchanted. I will be going to her town of Lemoore which is roughly 45 minutes to an hour away from Fresno. We have had two great dates... well the first and an impromptu one both lasted like 3 hours. I have sent flowers, and went to the mall she was working at today to shop and perhaps run into her, which I did. I was scared.... that was a fine line between creepy and cool I walked... But my goal was to shop in a mall that was not as crowded as Fashion Fair, which it wasn't, oh Hanford mall btw, and had some of the same shops, which is also did. It was a nice drive to Hanford, and she was just as stunning today as the first two times I've seen her. Silly me had to wear the green shirt I have with the bunny and squirrel boxing....... but I think I pulled it off.......

Oh and I got to do something that I kind of always wanted to do to a Mall Vendor... it was a little mean... but I laughed after.... This lady with some kind of cream it looked like in her hand approached me as I tried to pass her "Sir, can I ask you a question?" My classic response.... "You just did thank you." Kept on walking....... that was legen.... wait for it... dary.... legendary!!

My Word....

I hate when people question my word. I am a stand up guy, when I say I will do something, it gets done. I have to admit I normally tend to leave out a deadline...... but I will get it done. What sparks this little entry? Well I had asked one of the Units about vesting for my new house... well this Unit had no idea and started to lecture me about fees and how that I am still on the title for the old house that I was liable. I explained to this Unit that I had taken care of that and true the state will come after me if needed, but she needs to refinance before I can get my name off completely. The Unit went on to say that I should FORCE her to do it because it is my money involved here as well. I tried to explain to this Unit that I can not force someone to do anything.

The Unit went on to say that this will bite me and that "They" will charge me more. I asked "Who will charge me more?" The response was " I don't want to argue with you." Again "Who will charge me more?" "Listen I'm not..." Finished the Unit's sentence "Answering my question... WHO will charge me more?" The Unit yells "The Bank!" I laugh because I have already taken care of this. My Loan officer even showed it to underwriting and said I am good. Not only to I have a Quit Claim Deed signed and notarized but my old roommate also provided me with 6 months of checks showing that I have NOT paid for the mortgage. I told the Unit this, but all I got was a shake of the head.

WHAT?!?! I informed said Unit that I have taken care of this, like I ALWAYS DO, but the Unit replied "When this blows up on you and IT WILL, then I will just say I told you so." My reply was "That won't happen because I take care of my stuff. I always have. When I say I'm going to do something it's as good as done. I have already been approved and am good to go." Still the shake of the head... screw that. There will be no "I told you so." sheesh. Sometimes this Unit acts like I am stupid and can't take care of my stuff.... but I can.......I can not wait to move out...... not that I am not thankful..... it is just I had to hold my tongue......pisses me off.......

To make matters worst, the Unit's computer is located in the room that I sleep in and this Unit has been addicted to Pogo.com and stays in the room until like 1am and I can't sleep when I want cause again I don't force people to do things they don't want to...... sigh. I am sooooo looking forward to my date tomorrow.

The Golden Compass finished

Well I finished the Golden Compass yesterday. Which is ahead of schedule. I had a goal to finish it before the Dec 7th release of the film and well it's done :) So now I am reading Anne McCaffrey's No One Noticed the Cat. It was suggested to me to read something by McCaffrey and so I found something that interested me. This is the first book of hers that I have read. So far so good. I could make this longer and go off topic, but I won't. Instead I'll make a series of small blog entries haha I guess that will work as I haven't blogged here in ages.

Some Good News I think

Well I finished Ray Bradbury's famous book Fahrenheit 451. So I finished two books this month. Hoping to pound out Number 3, The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman. It is very interesting and I want to finish it prior to the movie release on Dec 7th, which I think I will beat. I am more than half way through and that surprises me since I am still teaching... normally I read slow due to the classroom.

Some first for me this month, WWE ASP started. I had a HUGE interest prior to the program starting, but I have been struggling to get kids in... with football season now over I might get a few in. Who knows. I have to compete with sports..... perhaps I can bring in an old gaming system too.... we will see I will need to get feedback for my kids.

Also I will be doing something I haven't done in over 7 years... more update on that.... if I feel like it.

Also I am getting Boomer back, so I will have three kitties here for a week before I do one of the hardest things ever and give both Boomer and Helo up to a new home. The unit's friends want some kitties and I know they will give these two a loving home, and the sisters will finally be back together. I just hope their time apart has not weakened or changed their bond. We will see.

ok that's it

Stardust!!!! FINISHED!!

Yes! For the first time in what seems ages, I finished a book. I have been reading two of them. But Stardust is finished. It is quiet different from the movie, and in a good way. I am glad that the movie did not end up like the book. However each are wonderful. Man teaching has taken away a lot of my reading time. Still need to finish the Ray Bradbury classic. I think Golden Compass or The Last of the Jedi children's book is next up as far as fiction. Well I am happy I finished a book!!! BOOYEAH!!!!
